Nature of the Service

This is a private reference that organizes official and third-party routes related to Ocean County jail releases, New Jersey state custody, parole, probation, court records, and federal or immigration custody. It is not part of Ocean County government or the State of New Jersey.

No official jail roster, release record, court file, or supervision record is stored here. We cannot confirm that a person is in custody, order a release, post bond, submit a filing, change a government record, or act for a reader before an agency. Some pages also connect visitors with outside research tools that operate under their own terms.

Acceptable Use Rules

Use must remain lawful, respectful, and consistent with these terms. You agree that you will not:

• Violate any federal, New Jersey, or local law while using the site.
• Use information to stalk, threaten, intimidate, or harass another person.
• Base employment, housing, lending, insurance, or another regulated eligibility decision on site content.
• Attempt to enter accounts, servers, systems, or data without authorization.
• Run bots, scrapers, crawlers, or automated collection tools against the site.
• Interfere with the site, its security, or another visitor’s access.

No FCRA Consumer Reports

Ocean County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not prepare background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports. Advertising and search partners shown here do not provide FCRA screening services through this site. You agree not to use any information obtained here for:

• Hiring, firing, promotion, reassignment, or another employment decision.
• Tenant selection, lease approval, housing access, or occupancy screening.
• Creditworthiness, lending terms, debt decisions, or insurance premiums.
• Licensing, permits, benefits, or government-program eligibility.
• Any other purpose governed by the FCRA or similar consumer-reporting law.

Links may lead to Ocean County Corrections, the Sheriff, New Jersey courts, NJDOC, NJSPB, federal locators, legal resources, and independent search services. A link is provided for navigation and does not endorse the destination. We do not control another site’s content, accuracy, privacy practices, data use, fees, availability, or security. Review that provider’s terms before submitting a search or payment.

Service Provided As Is

The site and its content are offered “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, no express or implied warranty is made about:

• The accuracy, completeness, or current status of any information.
• Continuous or uninterrupted access to the site.
• The absence of errors, harmful code, bugs, or security weaknesses.
• The scope, quality, or completeness of an outside provider’s results.

Custody and public-record information can change quickly. A release date can mark transfer from one agency to another rather than freedom from all custody. Nothing published here is an official statement by Ocean County, a sheriff, a court, NJDOC, NJSPB, BOP, ICE, or USMS. Confirm facts with the office that created the record.

Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site, its owners, contributors, service providers, and partners are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from access to, reliance on, inability to use, or use of this site or a linked service. This limit applies even if the possibility of a loss was known.

Your Duty to Indemnify

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the site, its owners, contributors, and service providers from claims, damages, costs, liabilities, and reasonable legal fees arising from your use of the service, your misuse of information, or your violation of these terms or another person’s rights.

Ownership of Site Materials

Unless a source is identified as belonging to someone else, the original text, organization, graphics, logo presentation, and code used by Ocean County Released Inmates belong to the site or its content partners. You may not copy, republish, distribute, sell, modify, or create derivative works from those materials without prior written permission. Government records and linked agency materials remain subject to their own ownership and access rules.

Changes to These Terms

These conditions may be revised at any time. A revised version becomes effective when it is posted here. Continued use after a change means that you accept the updated terms.

Suspension or Loss of Access

Access may be limited, suspended, or ended at any time, with or without notice, including when conduct threatens the service, violates these terms, or affects another visitor. Ending access does not cancel provisions that are meant to continue, including use limits, ownership, liability, and indemnification.

New Jersey Governing Law

New Jersey law governs these terms, without applying rules that would select another jurisdiction’s law. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in New Jersey, subject to any legal right that cannot be waived.

Severability of Terms

If a court finds one part of these terms invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts continue in force. The affected provision will be narrowed or adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable while preserving its intended purpose.
