- For post-release supervision, use the parole and probation contacts. Northern and southern Ocean County have different parole district offices.
- For a recent county release, check the released-last-24-hours process. Ocean County does not publish a true daily feed.
- For a calculated state date or alert, use the inmate release date and VINELink release check resources.
- For juvenile detention, only an authorized parent, guardian, or attorney should contact Juvenile Services at 732-288-7708.
- For a state prisoner, use the New Jersey Department of Corrections offender search and NJDOC records route.
- For federal prison or immigration custody, use BOP or ICE; a USMS pretrial matter may also require the federal court.

Northern Ocean is assigned to District Office 3 in Neptune at 732-741-2424; southern Ocean is assigned to District Office 8 in Pleasantville at 609-415-6630.
